Climate Change solutions
The answer to the potential problems we are likely to experience because of climate change are not straightforward. It may not be enough simply for some nations in the world to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere. One critical action is to stop destroying rain forests. But there seems to be little political consenus to actually do anything!
All countries need to stop burning fossil fuels without carbon capture systems in place. All countries should stop destroying forests and woodland areas. All countries should do whatever it takes to minimise the amounts of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere.
The hydrogen economy is a potential way of providing energy that does not contribute to global warming. Hydrogen combined with oxygen produces energy in particular for batteries and fuel cells.
One issue is that the hydrogen has to produced and the production process currently uses up more energy than is released when hydrogen is used as a fuel.
